The electronics service's main misson is to develop, manufacture, implement and support electronics for physics experiments where LPSC is contributing.
In fact, the service is present in almost every LPSC projects.

The team is involved in many areas of electronics ranging from ASIC design to complex electronic systems development and embedded software programming. Its activities are divided as followed :

System Electronics

  • NIM, CAMAC, VME modules
  • custom electronic circuits
  • sensor implementation
  • High-voltage electronics

Microelectronics

  • ASIC : front-end electronics
  • R&D : analog-to-digital converters (ADC), digital-to-analog converters (DAC)

Support and instrumentation

  • Board assembling
  • Board interconnections
  • Detectors assembly and installation

CAD boards

  • Support to users
  • Component libraries
  • Boards Place and Route
  • Manufacturing and assembly follow-up
