The ATLAS group of LPSC is widely committed to the experiment software. This committment is realised in two types of projects.
A first team, comprising the engineers of the group, is specialized in databases. They have developed two software tools used by the whole collaboration: Tag Collector and AMI. Tag Collector manages the releases of the ATLAS data simulation and reconstruction software. AMI is a tool allowing the access to the metadata relevant for each data sample (be it simulated or real data).

A second team, made of physicists, was committed to the LAr calorimeter software (see "Former Activities" section) and is now involved in the jets reconstruction and software validation (see dedicated sections).
