Grenoble Isere Airport (GNB), Saint-Etienne de Saint-Geoirs :
The Grenoble Isere Airport (GNB) is the closest to Grenoble. Its activity is mainly driven by winter tourism, but some international regular lines are available.
- Connections with shuttles between Saint-Geoirs airport and Grenoble bus station. The transfer to Grenoble takes 30 minutes. A stop at the CNRS is possible on request.
Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS)
The Lyon Saint Exupery International Airport (LYS) is the most convenient way to come to Grenoble.
Regular buses (see hours and prices here) ensure the connections Grenoble-Saint-Exupery Airport and Saint-Exupery Airport-Grenoble.
Arrival : Grenoble bus station.The transfer to Grenoble takes 1 hour.
You can come directly from the airport to the LPSC. You have to get down at Place de la Résistance bus stop.
Departure : Grenoble bus station or "Place de la Resistance" bus stop (near the bridge "Pont d'Oxford")
Geneva International Airport (GVA)
Depending on your country of departure, the Geneva International Airport can be a more convenient alternative to the LYS airport. The AEROCAR shuttle bus can drive you directly to the Grenoble bus station. The travel duration is 2h30. Only 5 rotations per day. Also, you need a valid Swiss visa to use that option.
Alternatively, you can take the train :
