Enigmass supports R&D projects to develop new techniques and future instruments related to the three scientific work packages. The management board plans to have two calls.
The second call was for projects starting in 2023. The selected projects are:
- Excellency at High Frequency (WP1, G. Pignol and O. Bourrion, 5 k€)
- Evolution du banc de caractérisation de l’évaporation du CO2 dans des micro-canaux pour le refroidissement de la prochaine génération de détecteurs silicium du FCC : MC2O2 (WP1, R. Kossakowski, 15.9 k€)
- Boosting Astroparticle/Cosmology team (LAPTh) computational capabilities with GPUs (WP2, Y. Génolini, 17.6 k€)
- R&D for the photodiode readout system of gravitational wave detectors (WP2, M. Was, 17.2 k€)
- Gas circulation and purification system for rare events alpha detector (WP3, A. Dastgheibi-Fard, 12 k€)
- Directional Dark Photon Dark Matter Exploration at 1 meV (WP3, C. Beaufort and D. Santos, 13.3 k€)
The first call was for projects starting in 2022. The selected projects are:
Large scale projects:
- Building an in-vacuum seismically isolated optical bench (WP2, L. Rolland, 140 k€)
- New generation lenses for next decade millimeter cosmology experiments (WP3, A. Catalano, 121 k€)
Small scale, R&D booster projects:
- ALICE upgrade (WP1, R. Guernane, 15 k€)
- Evolution du banc de caractérisation de l’évaporation du CO2 dans des micro-canaux pour le refroidissement de la prochaine génération de détecteurs silicium du FCC : MC2O2 (WP1, R. Kossakowski, 15 k€)
