• Saint-Geoirs - Grenoble / Grenoble - Saint-Geoirs : Connections with shuttles. A stop at the CNRS is possible on request.

Your plane arrives at Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport

Regular buses ensure the connections Grenoble-Satolas and Satolas-Grenoble. Arrival : Grenoble bus station. If you wish, you can ask the driver to stop you at the CNRS.

Departure : Grenoble bus station.

Your plane arrives at Geneva airport

Two trains per day (duration of the trip : two hours).

You arrive by train : Non-stop trains Paris - Grenoble/Grenoble - Paris

TGV Paris-Grenoble :

• Departure "Gare de Lyon" railway station : journey time : three hours
• Departure Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) railway station : journey time : three hours fifteen
  
  

You arrive by car (see the map)

• from Paris, Valence, Lyon (A 48) : after the toll, in Saint-Egreve, follow Grenoble Bastille and take the exit n° 16 "Polygone Scientifique". After the Oxford Bridge, you have to turn right in the avenue of the Martyrs and it is the first building on the left.
• from Geneva, Chambéry (A 41) : in Meylan, at the end of the A41, follow the "Rocade Sud" ; it joins the A 480. Follow the Lyon, Paris direction. Take the exit n° 1 "Polygone Scientifique" ; then, it is the first building on your right before the crossroads.
• from Briançon, Sisteron (A 480) : Take the exit n° 1 "Polygone Scientifique" ; then, it is the first building on your right before the crossroads.
  
• from the center of the town, it's better to come by bus because of the trafic. Hotels have parkings.
  

From the railway station, how to reach the LPSC with TAG (Grenoble Trams and buses)

From SNCF railway station and bus station

Bus 34 - Direction Sassenage (bus stop opposite the railway station): the journey takes 10 mn ; get down at Place de la Résistance bus stop (Monument)

• Monday to Friday : buses every 10 mn from 6 o'clock to 20. 15
  
• Saturday and school holidays : buses every 15 mn from 6 o'clock to 20. 15

• Monday to Friday : buses from 6 o'clock to 20. 15, every 13 mn
  
• No buses on Saturday and Sunday.

You can buy your ticket by the unit in the bus (1,20 euro the ticket) or by block of 10 in a tobacconist's shop or from the distributors of the tram stations (10 euros the block). If you buy your ticket in the bus, you need to have got change.
