Neutron propagation

It is outside the scope of this article to give a detailed account of the neutron propagation theory. The interested reader should refer to standard books on nuclear reactor theory like those of Weinberg and Wigner[33] ,Bussac and Reuss[32],Lamarsh[34], etc. However, we think it is useful to recall the basics of neutron propagation, so that schematic calculations of hybrid reactors can be understood and carried on.
