    > cmt config
    > source setup.sh
    > cmt bro gmake

  • Generation with standalone AcerMC:
    > Set Option 2 in run.card to produce:
    - AcerMC-XXXXX.events
    - AcerMC-XXXXX.inparm
    > cp AcerMC-XXXXX.* PhysicsAnalysis/xxx/UserAnalysis-xx-xx-xx/run

  • Card files for generation:
  • Process W+t (ATLAS #5500): run.card - acermc.card
  • Process W* (voie-s) (ATLAS #5501): run.card - acermc.card
  • Events input to Athena: [events]
  • Input parameters: [inparm]
  • Process Wg (voie-t) (ATLAS #5502): run.card - acermc.card
  • Events input to Athena: [events file]
  • Input parameters to Athena: [inparm file]
  • Production of generated events within Athena (POOL format):
    > cd PhysicsAnalysis/.../UserAnalysis-xx-xx-xx/run
    > ln -s AcerMC-XXXXX.inparm inparmAcerMC.dat
    > Edit jobOptions.AcerMCPythia.py -> set #evts, name output file
    > athena.py jobOptions.AcerMCPythia.py
